Lindsay pulls away from Coalgate

The Coalgate Wildcats lost to the Lindsay Leopards October 17, but not before putting up a good fight in the first quarter. First half: Lindsay received the ball first and returned it to its own 34-yard line. On first and 10, the Coalgate defense held a Leopard rusher to just a one-yard gain.

Coalgate falls to Kingston

The Coalgate Wildcats lost to the Kingston Redskins Friday night on the road. It appeared the Wildcats were overwhelmed by the Redskins who had a big offensive line and a swarming defense. And the very first play of the game seemed to signal what lay ahead for the Wildcats.

Coalgate Lady Cats’ State Title Run Ends

The Coalgate Lady Cats fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 6-0 loss to Silo in opening play of Class 2A State Tournament on Thursday, October 10. Silo took the two-run lead on a home run in the first inning and went up 4-0 in the third.

Lady Cats Clinch First Ever State Birth For Coalgate!

The Coalgate Lady Cats fast pitch softball team has punched their ticket to the state tournament for the first time in school history! Coalgate was number four seed coming into the regional tournament hosted by Wyandotte. The Lady Cats came to town to do work and work they did!

In a game where officials threw flags all over the place, the Coalgate Wildcats lost at home Friday to the Comanche Indians, 27-0. It seemed the game was plagued by turnovers in the first half, and by penalty calls throughout.
