Baseball: Although our Wildcats did not get to play an away game against Soper on Monday, March 11, or a home game against Stonewall on the 12th due to weather-related issues, this did not slow our boys down.

Baseball: Our Wildcats started off the baseball season March 7 at home with a significant win against the Savanna Bulldogs, scoring a whopping 14-0! On March 8, they lost an away game against Kiowa by just one point, the score being 9-10.

Ten Coalgate High School students were recognized at the 2019 Basketball Senior Night held February 12 at the school gymnasium. The students were escorted onto the court by their parents and other family members.

Young deer hunters Gage Rice of Coalgate and Emma Burkhalter of Atoka were the winners of a youth hunt contest sponsored by Preston and Sarah Newman and H&L Custom Processing (Gary and Charity Hensley) in Coalgate.

Highlights from Coalgate vs. Caddo game

Both the boys and girls teams lost to Stuart but the scores were close. The boys came up on the short end 45-42 and the girls lost by only 4 points, 46-42. Isaac Adcock led Coal-gate with 13 points followed by Carson Manion with 10. Blade Horton added 8 and Haydon Vick 6.

Twenty-three athletes, cheerleaders, band members and their parents were recognized at the 2018 Coalgate High School Senior Night. The honorees include: Isaac Adcock — Football, golf. Auston Crank — Football, basketball, golf. Stetson Delozier — Football, powerlifting.
