Coalgate Lady Cats defeat Calera despite allowing 3-run inning The Coalgate Lady Cats claimed a 10-3 victory on Monday, August 27, despite a big push by Calera in the third inning. Calera scored its runs on a triple by Johnson. Coalgate opened up scoring in the first inning.

The Coalgate Wildcats put 50 points on the board before halftime Friday night en route to a big football win over rival Atoka. A big win wasn’t unexpected, but such a blowout may have been. The Wildcats beat the Wampus Cats, 58-0.
