Texas man arrested with drugs and concealed weapon

A San Augustine, TX, man was taken into custody early morning November 7 after his vehicle was stopped on South Broadway for speeding.

Officer Taylor Wood said when he ran a check on the driver, he found that the man did not have a valid driver’s license or vehicle insurance.

The man was carrying a loaded Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun between the passenger seat and the console and a black box on the floorboard that contained nine baggies with a white crystal-like substance and drug paraphernalia. All field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Flynt Wayne Holloway, 42, has pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor possession of controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and carrying a concealed weapon. His case is set on the January 18 docket with bond set at $2,500.
