Gloria June (LaNoy) Lankford

Funeral services for Gloria June (LaNoy) Lankford, a longtime Coalgate resident, will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. Larry Stephenson officiating, assisted by Bro. Larry Beach. Burial will be in Coalgate Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lankford was born January 25, 1932 to Fred and Mattie Ann (Bodine) LaNoy at Coal-gate, OK and passed away March 3, 2019 at Atoka, OK at the age of 87 years, 1 month and 6 days. She attended Coalgate School and married William Richard Lankford. He preceded her in death in 2000. June was a cook for the Coalgate Senior Citizens and a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Centrahoma. She enjoyed gardening, going to church and spending time with her family.

Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Farmer of Stringtown, OK and Arlene Ringels and husband Henry of Coalgate, OK; grandchildren, Scott Tis-dale of Atoka, OK, Brad Tisdale and wife Brandy of Tushka, OK, Jamie Mc-Coy and husband Jerry Don of String-town, Brian Ringels of Coalgate, Shane Ringels and wife Cassidy of Durant, OK, Kenneth Willis and wife Gwen of Coalgate, Kerri Rivers and husband Larry of Stuart, OK and Kimberly Hall and husband Dan of Sulphur, OK; sisters, Melva Daniels of Cottonwood, OK, Sue Kirk and husband Bob of Ada, OK and Sharon Ennis and husband Russell of Midwest City, OK; along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many dear friends and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Mattie Ann (Bodine) LaNoy; husband, William Richard Lankford; daughter, Evelyn Willis; son, Gary Lankford; great-grandson, Brock Tisdale; sister, Violet Bowerman; and brother, Vernon LaNoy.

Casketbearers will be Scott Tisdale, Brian Ringels, Jerry Don McCoy, Bob Kirk, Russell Ennis, Brad Tisdale, and Shane Ringels. Honorary bearers will be David Lamb, Chris Tree, Larry Rivers and Kenneth Willis.
