Michael Eugene Gerhards, a Coalgate resident, was born on May 1, 1958, to John Frank and Laura June (Welty) Gerhards, at Terre Haute, IN. He passed away on April 1, 2023 at Denton, TX at the age of 64 years and 11 months. Michael was a gandy dancer for the Union Pacific Railroad. He was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by brother, John Gerhards and wife Marion of Coalgate, OK ; sisters, Jewel Gerhards of Coalgate, OK and Theresa Dise of Tom Bean, TX; nephew, Preston Dise of Houston, TX; niece, Alicia Dise of Sherman, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Frank and Laura June (Welty) Gerhards.
