Graveside services for Robert Allen Nichols, an Atoka, OK resident, were held Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Stringtown with Bro. Jerry Richard officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Atoka was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Nichols was born on Friday, March 28, 1975, to Lester Ray Nichols and Lois Jawana Nichols, at Durant, OK and passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Atoka, OK at the age of 50. He attended Atoka Schools and later went to Broken Arrow Schools.

Robert was a carpenter for many years. He married Karrie (Reedy) Nichols on Friday, June 4th, 1993, at Tulsa, OK.

Robert enjoyed fixing things, working on cars, being outdoors, doing yard work. He loved teasing his mother, spending time with his family and grandchildren, and playing with his dogs, Hank and Peanut.

Robert is survived by his mom, Lois Woods of the home in Atoka, OK; children, Misti Reedy of the home in Atoka, OK; Jawana Nichols and spouse Samuel Murillo of Lehigh, OK; Christian Nichols of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, David Mitchell Jr. of Mead, OK, Chloe Murillo, Nina Murillo, Mateo Murillo all of Lehigh, OK, Karley Nichols of TX; sister, Teresa Williams and spouse James Martin of Atoka, OK; brother, James Nichols of Atoka, OK; sistersin- law, Debbie Nichols of San Antonio, TX, Crystal Nichols of Atoka, OK; aunts, Joyce Collum of Seagoville, TX, and Glenda Willis of Caney, OK and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones and dear friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Karrie Reedy Nichols; father, Lester Ray Nichols; stepfather, Richard Woods; grandson, Luis Murillo; brothers, Bobby Ray Nichols, David Nichols, and Tony Nichols; uncle, Dolan Willis; maternal grandparents, Jewel Willis and Lorena Willis; paternal grandparents, Rita and Marvin Nichols.

Casketbearers were Samuel Murillo, James Martin, Richard Williams, James Miller, Braden Miller, and Ovie Fox. Serving as honorary bearers were Jewel Wayne Pitman, Matthew Williams, Tommy Cullum, Raymond Williams, Jr. and Roy Pitman.
