Service held for Hoyt Clark Warren

Memorial services for Hoyt Clark Warren, a Coalgate resident, were held Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Mr. Bob Ward officiating. Arrangements were

the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Coal-gate.

Mr. Warren was born October 8, 1937 to Raymond and Hazel (Grove) Warren at Coalgate, OK and passed away May 15, 2019 at Coalgate at the age of 81 years, 7 months and 7 days. He attended Lone Grove Elementary and graduated

from Coalgate High School in 1955. On August 15, 1962 he married Betty Shockey at Durant, OK. Hoyt served in the United States Army and was a truck driver, pipe liner and helped Betty with her Daycare. He was a member of the Pipeline’s Union and Truckers Union.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Netoma (Shockey) Warren of the home in Coalgate; son, Larry Warren and Tammy Holt of Coalgate; grandsons, Raymond Warren and wife Hannah of Stringtown, OK and Charlie Warren and wife Rebecca of Coalgate; great-grandsons, Ford Warren and Lightening Warren, both of Coalgate; along with numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Allen Warren; sister, Jayne Brown; and brothers, Doyle Warren, Paul Franklin “Frank” Warren, and William “Aubrey” Warren.
