Service Held for Marilyn Sue Bowen

Funeral services for Marilyn Sue Bowen, a Wardville resident, were held Sunday, May 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Charles Canida officiating. Burial was in Wardville Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Marilyn was born October 31, 1954 to William Howard and Iona Mae (Raiburn) Bowen at Dumas, TX andpassedawayMay 19, 2024 at her home in Wardville, OK at the age of 69 years, 6 months and 19 days. She attended Lewisville Schools until her senior year then graduated from Dunbar High School.

Marilyn was a secretary for several different companies and was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Parent Teacher Association for more than 30 years.

Marilyn was in the band and a dance company during high school. She enjoyed working puzzles, making scrapbooks and watching game shows. She loved to decorate for every holiday. Marilyn had a huge collection of Coca Cola memorabilia.

Survivors include her children, Rebecca Clements of Coalgate, OK, David Clements of Wardville, OK and Kristina Abelli and husband Andrew of Ada, OK; grandchildren, Christopher Clements of Ft. Worth, TX, Erick Clements of Stillwater, OK, Kimberly Dimmitt of Arlington, TX, Hazel Abelli of Ada, OK and Leslie Rains of Coalgate, OK; brother, Bill Bowen and wife Terri of Las Vegas, NV; life partner, Todd Evenson of Wardville, OK; fathers of her children, Gordon Clements of Mineral Wells, TX and Joe Napolitano of Arlington, TX.

Shewasprecededin death by her parents, William Howard and Iona Mae (Raiburn) Bowen.

Casketbearers were Andrew Abelli, Davis Clements, Christopher Clements, Erick Clements, and Kevin Jeffcoat.
