Service Saturday for Robert Stevens

Graveside service for Robert Earl “Bob” Stevens, an Atoka resident, will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Lehigh Cemetery with Rev. William Airington officiating. Family night will be Friday evening 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Stevens was born August 10, 1956 to Lucille Chambers Stevens at Arizona and passed away November 24, 2022 at Coalgate at the age of 66 years, 3 months and 14 days. He graduated from Panola High School in Panola, OK and served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. Bob was a welder and a rancher and married Sue Ellen on February 14, 2022 at Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was of the United Pentecostal faith and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and playing cornhole and dominoes. He enjoyed helping others and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Sue Ellen Stevens of the home; son, Bobby Stevens of Oklahoma City; brother Henry Raider and wife Marge of Oregon; sister, Louise Raider of Los Angeles, CA; stepdaughter, Bessie McIninch and husband Jesse of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Kayle Henderson, Ryan McIninch, Bailey McIninch, and Hailey McIninch all of Lehigh, OK; eight greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Chambers Stevens and brother Mike Stevens. Casketbearers will be A. J. Horn, Jesse McIninch, Bailey McIninch, Nathan Henderson, Shannon and Chuck Finch. Honorary bearers will be Tammy Palmer, Dwight Jump, Chuck Horton and Jimmy Hudson.
