Funeral services for Cynthia Carol (Kirby) Brown, a Coalgate resident, were held Friday, November 24, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Coalgate First Baptist Church, with Pastor Jim Lewis officiating. Burial was in Keel Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Janet Marlene (Kinsey) Gibson, of Coalgate, passed away peacefully at home on November 6, 2023. She was born January 4, 1952 to Marvin F. Kinsey and Phoebe A. Rumley. Janet married Thomas L. Gibson March 12, 1971. He preceded her in death . Tom and Janet had two sons together.
