Meth pipe discovered during traffic stop On August 27 at approximately 5:00 a.m., Deputy Jacob Peebles noticed a vehicle with no brake lights and proceeded to pull the vehicle over. The driver, identified as Thomas Lee Burkhart, 45, of Ada, informed the deputy that his license was suspended because of an unpaid ticket. Deputy Peebles asked Burkhart to step out of the vehicle. As he exited the vehicle, something fell from his lap into the floorboard. As it turned out, it was a glass pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamine.

He graduated from Olney High School class of ‘79. Roger married Jamie Jannette Price on June 27, 2016 at Ft. Smith, AR. He was a heavy equipment operator, a police officer, correction officer, mechanic, welder and dozer operator. Roger was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and cooking. Roger loved playing with his grand-children.
