Linda Sue Tomlinson

Funeral service for Linda Sue (Daniel) Tomlinson, a Coalgate resident, was held Monday, November 17, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Coalgate First Baptist Church with Bro. Richard Magby and Bro. Jim Lewis officiating. Burial was in Moore Cemetery in Clarita, OK with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Linda was born August 30, 1947 to Clifford and Nora (Underwood) Daniel at Olney, OK and passed away November 11, 2025 at Oklahoma City at the age of 78 years, 2 months and 12 days. She graduated from Olney High School and went on to attend East Central University. Linda was a homemaker and worked at Wrangler for 10 years. She married Leo Wayne Tomlinson on April 15, 1967 at Clarita Methodist Church. Linda was a member of Coalgate First Baptist Church and was a longtime pianist there. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Leo Wayne Tomlinson; daughters, WaLinda Harbour and husband Robert of Atoka and Joann Ott of Coalgate; son, Daniel Tomlinson and wife, Amanda of Stratford; grandchildren, Ryan Thompson, Taylor Thompson, Cliff Tomlinson, Harley Flowers, Shian Flowers, Lynna Tomlinson, Audrey Tomlinson, Wyatt Tomlinson and Sylas Tomlinson; great-grandchildren, Violet Swann, Bradley Swann, and Jameson Flowers; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dearly loved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Nora (Underwood) Daniel; sister, Lanell Self; and brothers, Keith Daniel, Morris Wayne Daniel, and Terry Daniel.

Casketbearers were Cliff Tomlinson, Ryan Thompson, Harley Flowers, Rowdy Wood, Justin Dansby, and Donald Self.
