Funeral services for Angelia Kim Hensley, a Tupelo resident, will be held (today) Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Pastor James Poulin officiating. Burial will be in Lehigh Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Hensley was born on March 14, 1966, to Arvin Chester and Ruth Vernell (Richard) Hensley, at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She passed away on July 25, 2026, at Norman, Oklahoma, at the age of 60 years, 4 months and 11 days. Kim attended Jackson School.

She worked as a cook at the Kountry Store in Tupelo, Nana’s in Coalgate, and several convenience stores. Kim liked smoking weed, raising her grandchildren, going to the casinos and hanging out with her friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her children, Brad Hensley of Norman, Rhonda Soto and husband David and Whitney Hensley all of Tupelo; grandchildren, Noe, Reina and Abraham Escamilla, Leland and Landon Buchanan and Brooklynn Luna, Gabriella Smith, Bradley Hensley and Harley Hensley; great-grandchildren, Aiyana Escamilla, Jewelly Marie Smith and Weston Hensley; siblings, Nina Siddiqui, Dewayne Cook both of Oklahoma City, Brenda Hensley of Coalgate, Terry Hensely of Tupelo and Gary Hensley of Daisy; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and dearly loved friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arvin Chester and Ruth Vernell (Richard) Hensley.

Casketbearers will be Noe Escamilla, Abraham Escamilla, Harley Hensley, Leland Buchanan Landon Buchanan and TT Hensley. Honorary bearers will be Gary Hensley, Terry Hensley, Dewayne Cook, Jarrod Jennings, Joey Horn, Scott Parks, Paul Spears and BD Hensley.
