Connie Eileen McKinney
Funeral services for Connie Eileen (Cornelius) McKinney, an Ada resident, were held Friday, May 1, 2026 at 2:00 at A Place of New Hope/ Calvary, Ada, OK with Bro. Toby Willoughby officiating. Burial was in Lehigh Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McKinney was born on October 22, 1960, to Donald Lee Cornelius and Eva Ann (Dodson) Wisman, at Coalgate, OK and passed away on April 27, 2026 at Ada, OK at the age of 65 years, 6 months and 5 days. She graduated from Coalgate High School with the Class of 1979. Connie worked as a helper at the INCA Clothing Bank in Atoka, Rerun Thrift Store, and Goodwill. She attended A Place of Hope/ Calvary in Ada. Connie was a very outgoing person whose laugh was contagious, if you knew her you loved her. She loved traveling, garage sales, eating at Prairie Kitchen and Chili’s. Connie’s favorite fur baby was Sugar Bear.
Survivors include friends adopted as family, Denise Gomes, Jonathan Boeck, children Brady and Nate, Janette Estes, Sarah Francios and child Kaitlyn, Latisha Brooks (Jerry) children Tristan (Brett), Kayla (Zac), Conner (Hailey), Jerry Sr., Rebeca Dege (Jeff), children Jerimiah, John, and Tom; aunt, Mary Knight; special friends, Linda and Donna Peoples, Curtis and Joann Knighten, Danny Harlin; along with several cousins and a host of friends that will miss her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Lee Cornelius and EvaAnn(Dodson)Wisman; daughter, Priscella Renee (Cornelius) Incho; twin brother, Kenneth Stewart Cornelius; sister, Ella Mae Walker and grandparents, Benjamin Albert and Fannie Pinkton (Carlile) Cornelius, Albert J. and Martha Jane (Wheeler) Dodson.
Casketbearers were Jonathan Boeck, Jeff Dege, Jerimiah Carlson, John Carlson, Tom Carlson and Nate Boeck. Honorary bearers were Jack Kidd III, Cary Tabor, Tony Sexton and Archie Faulker.
