Funeral services for Dorothy Irene (Taylor) White, a Coalgate resident, were held Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Pastor Chad Large officiating, assisted by Dallas White. Burial was in Wardville Cemetery in Wardville, OK with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. White was born on May 16, 1942, to John Thomas Taylor and Allie Marie (Constant) Linam, at Winters, California. She passed away on August 14, 2026, at Coalgate, Oklahoma, at the age of 84 years, 2 months and 29 days. Dorothy graduated from Winters High School. She was a loving home maker, she cooked for various schools and was also a restaurant owner.

Dorothy married Arthur Wayne White on November 7, 1958, at Winters, California. They were blessed with 67 years together before his passing on January 31, 2026. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking with the grand babies. Dorothy was the backbone of the family and raised many children with her husband while being foster parents for years. She was of the Pentecostal faith and loved the Lord, Dorothy was ready to meet her King and be with daddy again. She will be GREATLY missed and forever loved.

Survivors include her children, John White and wife Pam of Portland, OR, Sharon White and husband Roger SullengerofCoalgate,Kenneth White and wife Kristara of Roosevelt, UT, Kelli White of Seattle, WA, Kareda White of Coalgate, and Tanya Best Hill and husband Tim of Boise ID; grandchildren, John White, Carlie White, Olivia Rowe, Keefer White, Tony White, Melissa White, Lisa White, Daniel White, Dallas White, Kyler White, Kadon White and Oaklee White; great-grandchildren, Robbie Rowe, Chloe Rowe, Harmony White, Alia White, Emberlyn White, Gabby White and Blaydon Courson; great-greatgrandchild, Archer White; siblings, Lonnie Linam and wife Sally of Oklahoma City, Earnie Linam and wife Janet of Coalgate and Leon Linam and wife Shirley of El Reno, OK.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Wayne White;son,BobbyWhite;sister, Geneva Louiese Westbrook-Dulin; brother, Roger Linam and wife Diane and parents, John Thomas Taylor and Allie Marie (Constant) Linam.

Casketbearers were Daniel White, Dallas White, Kareda White, Jonathon Hawkins, Devin Cook and Blaydon Courson.
