Funeral services for Joyce L. (Jackson) Kemp were held Friday, June 12, 2026 at McNeil’s Funeral Service in Mustang, OK with Pastor Marty Alvarado officiating. Interment was in Lehigh C e m e t e r y , Lehigh, OK.

Mrs. Kemp, age 87, passed away June 8, 2026. She was born December 28, 1938 in Lehigh, OK to Albert E. and Erma (Isom) Jackson. The family moved back and forth from California to Oklahoma during her childhood, she finished school at Gilroy Bible School in Gilroy, CA. Joyce married the love of her life, Rev. Don E. Kemp on May 25, 1957. They were missionaries to the Indian Reservation in Parker, AZ. Here they fostered many children. During their travels Joyce worked in restaurant management and eventually owned and operated K’s Kountry Kitchen in Ketchum, OK. She enjoyed sewing, needlework and reading, but her love was for her Lord and her family. Survivors include her three children, Steve Kemp and wife Angela, Denise Owen and husband Steve and Robin Robinson; ten grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren and three “on the way”. Also survived by her four siblings, Alta Alls, Nancy Simpson and husband Vernon, Eddie Jackson and Pat Fisher and husband Mike.

She is preceded in death by her husband Don (1998) and her parents.

Serving as pallbearers were Steve Owen, Dakota Kemp, Nicholas Henderson, Eddie Jackson, Vernon Simpson and Kaleb Kemp.
