Funeral services for Ola Mae (Latham) Grigg, a McAlester resident, were held Saturday, July1, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. Eddie Hogue officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Grigg was born on May 20, 1950, to Gordon Albert and Ola (Washburn) Latham, at Coalgate, OK. She passed away on July 28, 2026 at McAlester, OK at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 8 days. She attended Coalgate High School.

Ola was a cashier, PCA, cook,andpharmacyclerk. She attended McAlester First Baptist Church. Ola enjoyed sewing, cooking, fishing, camping, bingo, dancing, and playing at the casino. She could also be found eating or making Christmas candy, planting, watching softball, playing dominoes, going to yard sales, or watching Wheel of Fortune. Ola loved spending time with her family most of all.

She is survived by her children, Robert Stockwell, Jr. and wife Zoanna, Gary Don Stockwell and wife Johna allofCoalgate,Kemberley Stockwell, Valerie Hinton and husband Allan all of McAlester and Jonathan Hanks and wife Tiffany of Bixby; grandchildren, Joshua Stockwell, Nikki Nowabbi, Gared Stockwell, Ben Stockwell, Ronnie Smalling, Lacey Lee, Zac Rogers, Kelicia Hinton, Diane Hugar, Brittany Jordan, Jackie Meeks, Avonlea Hanks, Elijaha Hanks, Luke Hanks, Ian Hanks, Anecia Hinton, Kahamni Bent, William Nchols, James Ross and Ethan Ross; along with other special loved ones – Sissy and Camil Washburn and Lachele Duff.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon Albert and Ola (Washburn) Latham; brother, Harold Latham, Sr.; sisters, Martha McCarty, Mary Alice Basham; and granddaughter, Karlee Rae Smalling.

Honorary casketbearers were Gordon Latham, Bud McCarty, Joseph Nichols, Bobby McCarty, Chris Bradley and Roy Deck.
