OBIT WILLIAMS Funeral services for Christopher Shawn Williams, an Atoka resident, will be held Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Pastor Kendal Knight officiating. Family night will be Friday 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Pine Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.

Christopher was born on August 24, 1997, to Michael Jay Jones and Estella Sueann (Williams) Brown, at Ada, OK and passed away on April 26, 2026 at Atoka, OK at the age of 28 years, 8 months and 2 days. He graduated from Caney High School. Christopher was a cook at Sonic. He was of the Baptist faith. Christopher enjoyed listening to music, spending time with his baby girl, and hanging out with friends. He had a passion for nice clothes and shoes that were in style.

Survivors include his daughter, Hadlee Thomas of Durant, OK; mother, Estella Sueann Brown of Coalgate; father, Michael Jay Jones of San Antonio, TX; siblings, Austin Yates of Caney, OK, Timber Williams, Allison Brown, Blake Brown, all of Coalgate; grandparents, Terry and Tina Lockhart of Broken Bow, OK; uncles and aunts, Jessie Ruby and Forest of Superior, WY, Anna Hinkle and Keith of Clarksville, TX, William Williams and Connie of Bandon, OR, Carey Williams of Rattan, OK, Candi Williams of Coalgate; cousins, Pamela Osborne, Christie Anderson, Shawnee Wright, Devynn Wright, Matti Hogue, Ernest Smith, Diana Williams, Shellie Roebuck, Stasia Nutall, Shantell Halstead, Penny Kay Hinkle, Shelbie Hinkle, Harmony Province, Ricky Province, Bobby Roebuck, and Trey Roebuck; nieces, Myleigh Williams and Adalynn Yates.

He was preceded in death by his greatgrandparents, WC and Estella Williams; great-great-great grandparents, Wilson and Fern Williams, John and Jessie Bradsley; aunts, Debra Williams and Norma Overy.

Casketbearers will be Austin Yates, Isiah Conley, Devynn Wright, Deshawnta Wright, Blake Brown, and Ernest Smith. Serving as honorary casketbearers are Shawn Osborne, Keith Hinkle and Bobby Roebuck.
