E. E. Emerson Elementary third grade teacher, Kayla Blue, was recently named Alpha Plus Model Teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. Alpha Plus honored 48 teachers from among 945 teachers using interim assessments statewide. Alpha Plus is aligned with the Oklahoma Academic Standards. Alpha Plus has an OAS Pacing Calendar with curriculum mapped to 100 Days to ensure key objectives are taught before state tests. Kayla’s dedication and commitment to the Alpha Plus program will impact the lives of the students in her classroom. She is committed to following the program and knows that doing so will ensure their success. She is passionate about the success of her students and other teachers around her.
