THE CHS ACADEMIC TEAM, under the direction of Tracey Hickman, qualified for state for the third consecutive year. The area tournament was held in Coalgate on January 16, 2021. They began the journey to state by competing against three teams at the district level which was held at Silo. They advanced to the regional level held at Latta where they competed against nine teams. The state tournament will be held at Rose State College in Midwest City on February 6, 2021. The team consists of five freshmen, two sophomores, four juniors, and two seniors. Students are selected for the team by input from teachers and administrators.
