The second annual Coalgate Auto Show hosted by the Coalgate Education Foundation was held Saturday, October 17, at the Donald Mike Mayer Football Field. The event drew 50 entries and raised a total of $5,200. All proceeds will be used by the Coalgate Education Foundation to expand and maintain academic opportunities at Coalgate Schools.

Grant died surrounded by his loving wife of sixty years, Pat, and their three children, Darla, Dan, and Lisa. Grant’s family affectionately says that as Grant met his Heavenly Father, he asked him, “Where are the animals?
