Service held for Bobby Joe Ingram

Services for Bobby Joe Ingram, 89, of Tupelo were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the Tupelo Church of Christ, Bryant Naquin officiated with Wendell and Daniel Ingram assisting. Beau Landry was the song-leader. Burial followed at Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Stonewall. The Ft. Sill Honor Guard conducted military honors at the cemetery.

OKDHS announces embedded worker at Coal County Health Department to meet customers where they are

OKDHS is excited to announce a new embedded worker location at the Coal County Health Department. Beginning June 1, Oklahoma Human Services (OKDHS) will embed a caseworker on-site every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to take applications for several programs administered by OKDHS, including food assistance benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), child care subsidy and eligibility for SoonerCare (Medicaid). OKDHS specialist, Alicen Newman, can also make referrals to other agencies, as needed, or accept applications for assistance by phone when they are not on-site by calling (580) 207-0858.
