Police Arrest Tina Stowe for DUI After Failing Sobriety Tests

Assistant Chief Joseph Miklaucic of the Coalgate Police Department made an arrest on the night of April 29, 2023, after observing a driver failing to maintain their lane. At approximately 2240hrs, Assistant Chief Miklaucic spotted a blue Polaris Rzr with an Oklahortla license plate 1T2986 heading southbound on Broadway. The driver almost went into the ditch on the other side of the road. Assistant Chief Miklaucic initiated his emergency lights and pulled the driver over near Winsor. The driver was identified as Tina Stowe, who was unable to provide her driver’s license. When asked where she was coming from, Stowe stated that she had come from Coalgate.

Lady Wildcats Statebound

The Coalgate Lady Wildcats Varsity fought back after falling down by eight runs in the second inning. The comeback fell just short though, in a 9-7 defeat to Hobart on Thursday. Coalgate put up six runs in the failed comeback. Myca Farris, Abi Looney, Brylee Rice, and Braedy Wardrope picked up RBIs to lead the rally.

Early Lead For Coalgate Wildcats Sets Stage For Victory Over Hartshorne The Coalgate Wildcats Varsity jumped out to an early lead over Hartshorne and took home an 11-2 victory on Friday. Coalgate scored on a single by Payton Hilfer and a double by Tristin Trevathan in the first inning.

One Pharmacist’s View

I was watching TV last week and saw that the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority had decided to sort of back off doing much of anything for the time being. This was obviously a result of the “hornets’ nest” the authority stirred up with their proposed expansion of the Kickapoo. The Kickapoo was to connect I-40 down to I-35 in the Norman area bypassing the congested Metro of downtown OKC. A popular idea for some of those who try to get through Oklahoma City to Norman or south to Dallas. Not so popular for the people who live in the path of the proposed toll road.
