If you need a laugh today, then this should do it!

A Hazy Day in AllenOne day, a long time ago, I walked out on the street in Allen. It was a breezy day with a little dust and trash moving around the curbs. Not many cars parked downtown and there stood J.I. Jones, wearing his black “Curlee” suit, complete with his cigar and looking at the scene.

Growing old isn’t all that bad but you have to change a lot of ways you are used to living. I once heard old George Burns say, “One thing I do is when I bend over to tie my shoes I take a good look around down there and see if I need to take care of anything else while I’m down there.”

Sometimes We Forget I’ve been laid up sick a few days this new year and am making efforts to get all my ducks lined up so I can have some vertebrae surgically repaired and realigned so I can get back to normal. Whatever that is.I have a memory of a “long-ago time” concerning a nice lady named Dora.

Family UniversityAs a child, and then a young man, growing up in the home of Marge and Ted Priest, I didn’t realize I was attending an educational institution. I thought I was just growing up in a family. My life back then was filled with school, church, chores, and little league baseball.

There is a reason that the majority of Americans do not trust the mainstream media. One reason is that they are liars, and another is that they are anti-American. Consider the recent death of the Minnesota lady and how they left wing media reported it.

When I lived over in Centrahoma, a long time ago, farming was a lot different than what emerged from the 40s and 50s. In my time over there I was a grade school aged kid, and I usually confined “peanut farming” to what I could pick up, shake and fill my pockets for munching.
