The Board of Coal County Commissioners passed a resolution on Tuesday, October 14, that prohibits all outdoor burning in the county, including controlled burns, bonfires, campfires, and trash burning.The burn ban became effective at 9:00 a.m. October 14 and will expire on Tuesday, October 28.
