Mrs. Strunk retired from Coalgate Public Schools this spring after teaching math at Coalgate High School for 52 years. She was honored for her many years of service to the profession of teaching and the manner in which she represents the citizens of Coal County. She was named Teacher of the Year for her dedication and commitment to teaching. Linda says teaching has never been a job — it has been a joy.

Alpha Plus honored 48 teachers from among 945 teachers using interim assessments statewide. Alpha Plus is aligned with the Oklahoma Academic Standards. Alpha Plus has an OAS Pacing Calendar with curriculum mapped to 100 Days to ensure key objectives are taught before state tests. Kayla’s dedication and commitment to the Alpha Plus program will impact the lives of the students in her classroom. She is committed to following the program and knows that doing so will ensure their success. She is passionate about the success of her students and other teachers around her.
