Funeral services for JC Stiles, a Coalgate resident, will be held Wednesday (today), December 4, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. Eddie Hogue officiating, assisted by Bill Thomas.

George “Doc” Walker Chaney, a longtime Coalgate resident (formerly of Welch) was born on November 29, 1936, to George William and Bertha (McColloch) Chaney, at Vinita, Oklahoma. He passed away on November 16, 2024, at Coalgate, Oklahoma, at the age of 87 years, 11 months and 18 days.

A personal memorial was held Saturday, November 16, 2024 for David Allen Dority at his home. Arrangements were under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate.David, a lifelong Coalgate resident, was born on March 5, 1964 to Andrew Taylor and Mary Etta (Nichols) Dority at Marietta, OK.

Funeral services for Janice Marie Hudson were held Friday, November 15, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Tupelo Church of Christ with Pastor Wendell Ingram officiating. Burial was in Wilson Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Linda Sue (Hallmark) Ainsworth 77, passed from this life in Ada, OK on November 2, 2024 after a prolonged illness.Linda was born July 4, 1947 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to Susan Safrona (Cooksey) and James Edward Hallmark.

L. A. Hudson, longtime resident of Sherman, Texas, died surrounded by his family, Sunday, November 10, 2024, at age 85. L. A. was born in Ada, Oklahoma, on September 23, 1939, to Arvard Patton Hudson and Florence Juanita Hudson of Coalgate, Oklahoma.

Vicki Davis Hughes, 71, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 3, 2024, under the compassionate care of Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City. Born on March 18, 1953, in Anthony, Kansas, to Lloyd Pierce Davis and Geraldine Davenport Davis.

Services for Lequita Estalene Jackson, 92, of Coalgate were 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; Mr. Wendell Ingram officiated. Burial followed at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Stonewall.Mrs. Jackson passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024, in Coalgate.
