Coalgate Wildcats Narrowly Defeated by Allen Mustangs in Hard-Fought Match
The Coalgate Wildcats put up a commendable fight but came up short in a closely contested match against the Allen Mustangs, ending with a score of 12-18.Despite the loss, the Wildcats showcased a balanced offensive attack with a total of 245 yards: 131 from passing and 114 on the ground.
Tough Loss Friday for the Wildcats
Coalgate dropped a hard fought game to Antlers Friday night, 44-16.Antlers racked up a 36-0 lead at halftime and the Wildcats could never close the gap despite outscoring Antlers 16-8 in the second half.The locals scored the first touchdown on a 12 yard run by Rowdy Hemphill.

Hunter Bell was named Junior
Hunter Bell was named Junior Lake Record Holder at Lake Champion Fisher Park in Colorado City, Texas last summer with his 6.02 pound bass. He is back at it again! On Friday, July 7, 2023 Hunter beat his own record catching an 8.82 pound bass seating his place again as Junior Lake Record Holder.
