Amanda Rae Stevens

Amanda Rae Stevens, a Coalgate resident, was born on July 1, 1983 to Bobby and Helen Stevens at Coalgate and passed away December 7, 2025 at Durant at the age of 42 years, 5 months and 6 days. She graduated from Coalgate High School with the Class of 2001 and went on to attend East Central University where she was a part of the ECU Jazz and Gospel Choir and a member of CHILAMBDA Alpha Sorority. Amanda was a library aide.

She attended Coalgate Church of the Nazarene. Amanda loved her dog, Thor. She loved spending time with friends, singing, spending time with her family before they passed and she enjoyed many different kinds of music.

Survivors include her grandmother, Thelma (Davis) Woolf of Tushka; uncles, Robert Woolf and wife Kim of Tushka, and Eugene Woolf and wife Rita of Caney, OK; aunt, Ellen Settlemire and husband Jerry of Atoka, OK; along with several dearly loved cousins, relatives, and friends; friends, Sherri Hicks and husband Christopher, Serenity Hicks, Titus Hicks all of Ada, OK; fur baby, Thor of Coalgate; best friend, Anita Thompson of Coalgate and Jacob Abell of Tushka; friend/caregiver, Jan Turnbow of Coalgate; caregiver, Nellie Campbell of Coalgate and very special friend, Linda Grant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Ray and Helen Stevens; grandfathers, Tom Woolf and Albert Stevens; grandmother, Laurie Stevens; and uncle Bill Martin.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate.
