Graveside services for Wanda Lee Ingram, a Coalgate resident, will be held Friday, October 9, 2026 at 11:00 o’clock a.m. at the Coalgate Cemetery with Pastor Cody Cook officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate is in charge of arrangements.

Wanda Lee (Anglin) Ingram, was born on January 28, 1940, to Touten Brunson and Velma Cleta (Landrith) Anglin, at Tupelo, Oklahoma. She passed away on September 6, 2026, at Ardmore, Oklahoma, at the age of 86 years, 7 months and 9 days. Wanda went to Coalgate High School where her team went to State in basketball her senior year. She graduated from Coalgate High with the Class of 1958 as homecoming queen.

During high school, she worked at Hudson’s Big Country Store lunch counter and for Mr. Hudson as a secretary where she wrote letters that went all over the world to fund the hospital and the manor. Upon graduation, she stayed at the YWCA in Oklahoma City where she was Girl of the Year in 1962. Wanda married Boyd Oscar Ingram on January 20, 1962, at Oklahoma City. They were blessed with 32 years together before his passing on October 26, 1994. She was a supervising insurance underwriter retiring from St. Paul Insurance Company. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Moore, Oklahoma. Wanda was a collector of many things including coins. She enjoyed exploring genealogy, going to garage and estate sales and traveling. Wanda, and her team, were inducted in the Coalgate Basketball Hall of Fame. She is survived by her daughter, Trina Jones and husband Terry of Stonewall, OK; sister, Susie James of Olney, OK; brother, Eddie Anglin and wife Linda of Coalgate, OK; along with numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Oscar Ingram; parents, Touten Brunson and Velma Cleta (Landrith) Anglin, Leatrice Anglin; siblings, Lawrence “Okie” Anglin, Doris June Anglin Lindholm, Ruth Ann Jackson Fuller and Jim Anglin; niece, Bradi James; and special friend, Chuck Dorff.

Serving as honorary bearers will be Bronson James, Randy Nelson, Garrett McMichael, Gage McMichael, Gavin McMichael, Remington Hendon, Adam Jackson and Michael Halford.
