4 th of July Independence Day Celebration Activities Announced

The Chamber of Commerce announced that the Coalgate 4 of July Celebration will be held on Monday, July 4th. Activities will begin with a turtle race at 10:00 a.m. and the parade lineup will also begin at 10:00 a.m. The turtle race will be held in the Shamrock Bank parking lot. 1 , 2 , and 3 place trophies will be given to the children with the fastest turtles. The parade line up will be in the parking lot behind the high school gym. There is no fee to enter, and registration will take place when you line up. This year’s theme is: “Topgun – Flying High on the 4 of July”. Those who enter will be competing for 1 , 2 , and 3 place trophies. The judging will be based on originality, effort, and quality.
