Each year the E. E. Emerson Elementary students in grades first through sixth have the opportunity to work towards rewards throughout the year. The students read books and take tests which earns them points for the rewards.

A HELPING HAND FOR BABY ANNA — Coalgate Masonic Lodge #211 presents Hunter Parker a $5,000 check on June 18 to help with medical expenses for his and wife Bethany’s baby daughter, Anna. The Masons partnered with the Tupelo Fire Department and community at a June 6 benefit pie auction for the Parker family.
