THE BIG WINNER

Eight high school seniors from southeastern Oklahoma came to Atoka March 12-14 for FirstBank’s “In It To Win It” Cash Give-A-Way Competition. During the competition, the eight students had to stay in their assigned seats on a couch from Saturday at noon until Monday at 6:00 pm. They had to eat, sleep, and do challenges from the couches while being live streamed 24 hours a day on TikTok and Facebook. Contestants rotated seats and were given a 10 minute break every three hours. The students were chosen after completing an online application and submitting a short video telling why they would be the perfect contestant for this competition. In the end, all eight students made it to the finale where a drawing was held to determine the big winner. FirstBank placed eight gift boxes on a table and each contestant got to choose the one they wanted in the order their name was drawn. Seven of the boxes had $500.00 cash in them and one had the grand prize of $2,500.00.
