Michael Leon Deskin, age 60, of Mt. Zion, Georgia, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026. He was born on January 30, 1966, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Michael lived in Coalgate for some time and graduated from Coalgate High School.

Graveside services for Emma Jean Nanney, a Coalgate resident, will be held Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Riley Cemetery in Olney with Bro. Eddie Hogue officiating.

Funeral services for Dorothy Irene (Taylor) White, a Coalgate resident, were held Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Pastor Chad Large officiating, assisted by Dallas White.

There is no service planned for Redonna Sue (Looney) Williams, recent Coalgate resident,who passed away recently. She was born March 24, 1959 at Wichita General Hospital in Wichita Falls, TX to Harold “Spud” Looney & LaWanda (Cornelison) Dewvall.

Dustin “Dusty” Keith Nichols of Lane, Oklahoma passed from this life on August 5, 2026, in Plano, Texas at the age of 56. He attended Lane Elementary School and attended and graduated from Atoka High School. Dusty was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lane, Oklahoma.

A memorial service will be planned later for Norman Ray Cummins, a Stigler resident.Norman was born on August 21, 1944, to Ray Leon and Lydia Bell (Cook) Cummins, at Stuart, OK. He passed away on July 24, 2026 at Stigler, OK at the age of 81 years, 11 months and 3 days.

Norvin Lale Robson, a lifelong Coalgate resident, passed away July 30, 2026 at Lindsey, OK at the age of 70 years, 11 months and 2 days. He was born on August 28, 1955, to Thomas William and Shirley Mozelle (Massie) Robson, at Ada, OK. Norvin graduated from Coalgate High School.
